Cartridge Filter

Cartridge filters can be divided broadly in two categories: surface filters and depth filters. While surface filters trap the solids on the surface of the filter media, depth filters trap them within the thickness of the media. We, at Capri, offer a vast range of cartridge filters for diverse applications. Our product line in cartridge filters include filter elements produced from a wide array of polymers and metals. Each type of filter is available in many different types of specifications and are offered in accordance with the needs of the application.

Melt Blow Cartridge Filter

Melt blown filter cartridges are produced from polymer granules, mostly polypropylene. The granules are melted, extruded, and blown onto a rotating spindle in such a fashion that a gradient structure is formed. Hence, the density increases incrementally towards the centre of the cartridge filter. As simple as it sounds, the process requires modern and sophisticated technology to offer gradient density. The raw material of the filters should be virgin and of good quality else the downstream equipments are compromised.

Wound Cartridge Filter

Wound Filters are used in a wide range of filtration processes. PP yarns are wound around a core to form a wound cartridge filter. The performance of any wound filter relies on the quality of yarn and the technology used for winding. We import the world’s best quality yarn and utilize the continuous winding process and also ensure that the winding gets tighter towards the core to offer gradient depth.

Pleated Cartridge Filter

By definition, pleated filters are surface filters with a bigger surface area. But with the advancements in technology, today we also have pleated filters which perform depth filtration, and offer us best of both the worlds. It is the filter media and the technologies used for construction that decide the life and the performance of a pleated filter.
